Hip lift ( Upper abdominal )
Lie down on the floor on your back, and your both arms should be at your sides. Raise your legs upwards at the angle of 90 degree and try to lift your hips off the floor slightly and try to make your ab muscles working. Just concentrate while your hands are simply to keep you balanced. In this postion try to make your legs more forward to your head to feel the pressure in your ab muscles.
Now slowly come back to the starting position by lowering your hips back to the floor. Now repeat again and again.

Ab crunchThere’s another most popular exercise for your abs is ab crunch. It really hits hard the abdominal muscles and make them stronger and harder. For the strating position lie on the floor and raise your both legs off the floor. Bend your knees a little by making the 90 degree angle. And your calves should be parallel to the floor. Abdominal crunches are always more effective when you place your legs in this position in the exercise.
Now hold your head from behind by making a lock of your both hands tightly, and your elbows should be at your both sides as in the picture you can see. Now try to lift your head upward towards your thighs. And just concentrate on your ab muscles and try to lift with them. Try to lift more and more and crunch your torso upwards. And then slowly lower your back down to the beginning position… and your shoulders should come first to the floor slightly ... now repeat and I assure you that you should get the results. |
These crunches can also be done without making the 90 degree angle ... with feet on the floor.
